The
distillation machines of the DIstatic series, with capacity of 7 - 12 - 25 - 60 - 120 - 180 liters are
distillation machines which allow the recycling and the reuse of degreasing and washing solvents. Through a simple distillation process, they
separate the contaminants (resins, polymers, pigments, paints, oils, etc.) from the original solvent.
The boiling of the solvent is accomplished by a peripheral heating jacket filled with diathermic oil, heated by an electrical element. The vapors are then convoyed to a condenser cooled
by air on the standard distillation machine, or
optionally with water. The condensed solvent is collected in a tank, for its reuse. The contaminants remain as a residue inside a disposable bag named "Rec-Bag" ; in case of liquid residue, by
tilting the unit itself. The distilled solvent characteristics are not altered by the distillation process, which can be carried on repeatedly. The DIstatic distillation machine can be connected to a vacuum
system, suitable for high boiling solvents or for those flammable
solvents which have a close boiling point and flash point. The vacuum
system can be equipped with an air operated vacuum
pump or an electrical vacuum according to the need.
