Piston Coating Systems
| The BBS system is designed to prepare
pistons for coating with dry film lubricant on the skirted areas of
piston. Integral to this application is the design of the Piston washing
machine, drying and cool down chambers and curing oven. Included in this
design is the Heating and Air Conditioning unit with humidity control a
Water Treatment System, and the room necessary for proper application of
the coating. The system is to be operated with multiple
operators and operator control points. This explanation is not for a
fully automated system, but a manual system. This system can be fully
automated to function with one plc and control station. |

The STN BBS Piston Coating System can be either fully integrated with
one computer and one touch screen control, or designed to operate as a system
with relay controls. These systems have been made as fully automatic with one operator, and as a manually
fed and operated system. These systems for piston coating are generally
designed for one piston configuration, but can be made to operate with more that
one piston design.
